It’s when the lock gate is opened at Rochefort that all the silt in suspension of the river floods in to the marina creating the most marvellous displays.
I have a number of these pics which I’ll add as a post over the next day or so.
A convergence of a river and the sea maybe? Or maybe Play d’eau farted… 😉

Although I’ve seen the answer I would have suggested it was a sting ray moving through the sand/silt!
