It’s the start of a new adventure for Piers and Lin aboard Play d’eau – we’re moving aboard our recently refitted Fleming 55 as full time liveaboards based in Beaucette Marina, Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

Please keep a eye on this site for messages about our experiences and adventures in the months and years to come.

  1. All the best to you and your lovely Admiral. Enjoy you new adventure. It takes about a year to fully settle into life aboard. We love it here in the Pacific North West and San Juan Islands.

    1. Hi Patrick. I’ve never thanked you for your comment and past support on the Trawler Forum. You suggest it will take a year to settle in – I can now understand that! We still have a mountain of ‘things to do and sort’, but it’s certainly coming together. All the best, P & L.

    1. Hi Walt. My apologies for not thanking you for your comment and past support on the Trawler Forum. You ask about the Fleming as a live-aboard. From our (so far) limited experience, it’s excellent. A crucial change we made was installing a four burner induction hob in place of the original and very slow 3 burner hob. More on our posts as time passes. All the best. P & L.
